NVKIDS is a system modernization effort that is able to adapt to changing business needs and can be characterized as maintainable, extensible, flexible, and reliable.
- What is NVKIDS? NVKIDS is an updated computer system that will replace the current, 20+ year old system (NOMADS) used to manage child support cases in Nevada.
- Why is DWSS Implementing a new system? Day-to-day business improvements are needed, and the current system limits performance and productivity. Modern technology is needed for the Child Support Enforcement Program.
- When will NVKIDS be implemented? Implementation will begin in the spring of 2022 using a phased rollout that will be completed, statewide, by the fall of 2022.
