The unsolicited callers are requesting personal information offering assistance for filling out a SNAP application or other non-SNAP related services such as home security systems. Never provide personal information or your credit card number over the phone to unsolicited callers. This outside entity that has “spoofed” the SNAP toll free information hotline number is not affiliated with FNS or SNAP. If you suspect that you are receiving illegitimate calls from 1-800-221-5689, you may file a complaint with the FCC. ATTENTION CHILD SUPPORT PAYERS:
Child support payments can now be made with cash in person at retail locations in several states.


The State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Welfare and Supportive Services is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the following: Service of Process services forChild Support Enforcement Program documents RFP:

Responses will be provided in writing via email on or about February 26, 2019 to all vendors who submit questions.

Long Term Services and Supports include services that:

  • support individuals who need ongoing care due to age, physical or intellectual disability or chronic illness; and
  • assist an individual or their caregiver, to live as independently as possible in their homes and communities. 

Examples include: meals, transportation, chore services, personal care, counseling, respite for caretakers, adult day health care, benefits counseling, home modifications, assistive technology, etc.
