Interagency Council on Homelessness
The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services' Homeless to Housing unit provides administrative support to the Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH). The Council is responsible for collaborating with federal, state, and local agencies to develop the Nevada Housing Crisis Response System, establish a strategic plan to address housing insecurity, and increase awareness on issues related to homelessness.
A technical assistance subcommittee has been established to provide advice and information to assist the Council with developing a strategic plan. This committee may include, without limitation, representatives of federal, state, and local agencies, providers of services, religious organizations, persons involved in the sale or lease of housing, and members of the public.
